SCDS Directors
I can not imagine a job I would enjoy more than teaching. Seeing the joy on a child's face when they finally "get it" is one of the most rewarding things I can imagine.
I have been teaching since 2009. I have my B.S. in Psychology from Purdue University and my M.Ed. from National Louis University, and I have trained with the Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center, the Center for Jewish Montessori Education, and the Jewish Montessori Training Center. I believe strongly in the Montessori method and in pairing this with Judaism to create fantastic learning opportunities for our children. I am excited and awed at the opportunity to share my passions and beliefs with our community, and look forward to many, many years of doing so.

Since I began teaching in 2008, I have dreamed of opening a Jewish Montessori preschool. I am passionate about education and love how beautifully Judaism and the Montessori Method work hand in hand to provide children with a rich educational experience. I love seeing all different children thrive in this nurturing environment and develop their unique talents and abilities.
I have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and an International Montessori Teaching Diploma for ages 3-6, and I have trained with Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center, as well as the Center for Jewish Montessori Education. I am grateful daily for this incredible opportunity of helping children reach their potential. |

Naomi enjoys working with children and has strongly believed in the Montessori method of teaching ever since enrolling her oldest child in a Jewish Montessori preschool at the age of 2.5. She received her own training, and has been teaching in Jewish Montessori preschools since 2010.
